The apartment smart cloud management system, applied to apartment management, has greatly simplified the management of rental apartments.
Starting from when the apartment manager takes a tenant to view the property, the smart lock issues a dynamic password that is valid for a limited time, eliminating the hassle of searching for keys. After the tenant moves in, the smart lock system can also be used to manage tenants. When a tenant moves out, the system allows for the removal of the previous tenant's password without needing to replace the lock, saving both time and effort.
System Overview
This system adopts advanced cloud architecture technology, paired with smart locks, advanced IoT technology, and integrated modern property management concepts. The apartment smart cloud management system ensures greater security for property owners, more convenient management, and easier use for tenants.
The smart cloud system for rental properties is primarily composed of several subsystems: the cloud management platform, cloud gateway, smart cloud locks, electric meter gateway, electric meters, management cloud app, and user cloud app.
System Function Modules Introduction
The rental property smart cloud integrates various management features, including community management, administrator management, room management, smart cloud lock management, device alert management, electricity consumption management, and public electricity fee management.
1. Community Management
- Multiple communities can be created in the system, allowing for the addition, deletion, and search of communities. The system also enables the setting of electricity rates and shared electricity fees for each community.
2. Administrator Management
- After creating administrators within a community, they can log in to the cloud app and manage operations such as adding or deleting cloud gateways and smart cloud locks.
3. Room Management
A. Basic operations such as adding, modifying, and deleting rooms, and searching rooms based on various conditions.
B. Binding the cloud lock, electric meter, and water meter to each room.
C. Managing room authorization: once authorized, users cannot unbind devices or bind new cloud locks. Rooms can be authorized to multiple users, and each user’s authorization can have different validity periods.
D. Managing devices within the room: controlling the lock, setting passwords and temporary passwords for users, controlling electric meters, etc.
4. Device Management
1) Apartment Smart Cloud Lock List Interface: View the status of the smart cloud locks, remotely unlock them, and search for locks based on various conditions. Check the lock's battery level, binding status, etc.
2) Cloud Lock Details:
a. Set passwords: You can configure various types of passwords for the cloud lock through the system.
- User password: Can be used multiple times within the validity period.
- Temporary password: Can only unlock once within the validity period.
b. Password sending options:
- Manual send: Users can input and save the desired password in the system.
- Random send: The system automatically generates a one-time password and does not store it.
c. View Cloud Lock Information: Includes installation address, signal strength, online status.
d. Cloud Lock Notification Records: Records include door unlock events, battery history, and settings notifications.
3) Cloud Gateway: View all gateways in the system and their statuses. Gateways can be searched by conditions like online status, offline status, or community.
4) Water and Electric Meter Gateway: The electric meter gateway is specifically configured for electric meters. Once properly connected, it can read the meter’s count, perform opening/closing operations, and check whether the meter is online or offline.
5) Electric Meter: Normally reports readings to the gateway, supplies load to users, and supports remote opening/closing operations.
5. Device Alert Management
The rental property smart cloud system is a real-time cloud management platform. It continuously manages the status of cloud gateways, smart locks, and other devices, synchronizing this data in real time with the cloud system. If any gateway or smart lock malfunctions, administrators and the cloud platform are notified immediately to address potential issues. Common alert types include:

- Low battery on cloud lock
